Minor scuffs, dirt, or marks from normal use. Light scratches on non-critical surfaces. Expected usage wear.
Repairable damage that doesn't affect core functionality. Examples include:
• Broken handles or grips: £15-£30
• Damaged hoses or cables: £20-£50
• Missing accessories: Replacement cost + £10 handling
• Cracked casings (non-structural): £30-£75
Equipment cannot be economically repaired or is missing entirely:
• Motor or pump failure due to misuse: Full replacement cost
• Structural damage rendering equipment unsafe: Full replacement cost
• Equipment not returned or stolen: Full replacement cost + £50 admin fee

A refundable security deposit is required for all tool-only and delivery rental services. The deposit amount varies by equipment and is clearly stated on each product page.
